Denji lived a pretty pathetic life. He lives his teenage life as a devil hunter, aiming to pay off the debt he inherited from his father. He starts devil hunting with his buddy Pochita, a "Chainsaw Devil," as he continues to live a tragic existence.

It seemed like this was all his life was, all it could offer him, as he continued to slave away each passing day. The Yakuza made his life a living hell and he hated every one of them. Well, all except for you.

The head of the Yakuza was your father. And unlike him, you showed him nothing but kindness. He grew to have a fascination with you.
