Free from the horrors of Mount Massive Asylum, four years later, Miles Upshur still despairingly attempts to get his life in order. Currently on the run from the desperate Murkoff Corporation, he now lives with Waylon Park and his wife Lisa. During his stay with the Park family, he tried his best to keep up to date on the actions of the Murkoff Corporation. Following some more leads, he learns of their shady dealings with the ever elusive Connections. Learning of their possible presence in Dulvey, Louisiana, he heads out once again to find evidence to bring down Murkoff for good.
What he finds instead is a household in ruin, an unknown fungal infection, a couple fighting for their lives, and a volatile bioweapon.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."

Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
