This is a story that occurs after the events of the Shadowhunters series depicted in Cassandra Clare's story, Queen of Air and Darkness in the Dark Artifices Series.

After the Dark War ravaged almost everything she had, Katina Rekapolyana abandons the Shadowhunters and begins a new life on her own, as an assassin. No one knows of her true identity before. But when she is targeted by the evil and threatening new Dark Circle, a group of people who want to bring back an old evil, she had to handle things, and go back to her old traditional role of a Shadowhunter. But as she plunges more into the problem at hand, she then starts to see that she isn't who she always thought she was. She could be something completely different. She then soon realizes that in order to stop the Dark Circle, she must discover why she is wanted so badly, and who she truly is as a person, or all will fall into the dark.

Alec Lightwood had a successful life. He worked damn hard for it. But at the same time he was lonely. Experienced yet inexperienced. He craved love and knew he would never have it. He craved real feelings, to be loved for who he was, to be loved in a way that would satisfy him, but he knew that was an unreachable dream for him. So he buried his true self deep inside himself. So deeply that he slowly began to believe that his own false reality was real. And it worked for 28 years. Until he saw Magnus Bane in a red light window on the streets of Amsterdam. ➡️ NOTES: I was in Amsterdam a week ago. I went to the red light district. The place has such an aura that of course my Malec writing brain cells almost exploded. I started writing this the same day, during my vacation. I was going to write a oneshot...but by the end (as usual) I couldn't stop. It will be 3-5 chapters, but this time they will be shorter than usual - about 1K word / chapters. ⚠️ Warning 🔞 The story is ONLY for ages 18 +. This is adult content. I can't deny it, the atmosphere of the place turned me on...and it turned Alec on... also Magnus, of course... **** English is not my first language. Please don't compare the characters with the characters in Cassandra Claire's books. In my story you will only find references to the TV series. (I don't own any of the characters. All belong to Cassandra Claire. The story is my own. You'll find a few references to the TV series. I only use the names to make it easier to relate to the story)

Some say that you have a destiny, a destiny that no matter how hard you may try, you can't escape. What's written is written and there is no avoiding it. The Craftsmen have always been a powerful family, but Elizabeth never wanted the power. After hardship after hardship, she just wanted a normal, Mundane life and to forget about her past completely. After having her Runes removed at eighteen, she goes on and tries to live the life she's craved. A life free of danger, free of demons and free of anything that has to do with the Shadow World. But, as always, her past catches up with her in the form of an old friend with golden eyes and golden hair. After saving her life from an unexpected demon attack, he delivers a frightening message to her. A message that would change her future and the path she's taken. She was once a strong fighter, feared by some and respected by most. Now, she must regain the edge she once had in order to save humanity and people of her kind. With help from trusted allies, she rejoins the Nephilim's temporarily in order to stop Aspen Wolf, a powerful Warlock with the will of destroying all that stands between him and taking over Idris. Being the only one left of her kind, the only Craftsmen that could be found, she knows that no matter how badly she wanted a normal life, she'll never have one. She struggles back and forth between coming back as a Shadowhunter or continuing to try and live a normal life. It's would be an easy choice for it, if it wasn't for the man with the golden eyes. .... Cover art credit goes to myself.
