Knight of the Shield: Male Reader x The Rising of the Shield Hero

Being summoned to a new world as the controversial Cardinal Hero, the Shield Hero, Naofumi has struggled for most of his time ever since beginning his other life as his new world's protector. Though through the aid and caring support of Raphtalia and Filo, who have managed to find a special place in his heart, Naofumi has managed to get by and establish himself as a true hero for the people while fighting off the Catastrophic Waves that threaten to destroy the world. However, whilst engaging in battle and continuing to nurture and strengthen his Cardinal Shield, certain conditions seemed to have been met as the shield bestows upon Naofumi something else to aid him in his fights, a being that seemed to be resting within the shield and waiting for its wielder to unlock its power so that they may make themselves known to whomever was in possession of this Cardinal Shield.
