Set 200 years after the main story of TGCF, this story is of Qingxuan's journey as a ghost tied to this world by the desire to never be weak again. When Qingxuan feels Mt. Tonglu's gates open he sees a chance to realize his desire, to never have his life changed by anyone else again. So he sets out towards the former Wuyong capital, departing from home alone. Along the way, Qingxuan faces many challenges; his self-doubt, new companionship, and the unruly past which it unearths.
