The plunge, a coming-of-age ritual for the elven city Aurelia, either leaves its participants aligned with the magic of the world or dead. So when Elessida begrudgingly participates for the wellbeing of her sister, no one can imagine how she survived powerless. With the immoralis threat looming on the horizon, and the kidnapping of her sister, Elessida leaves her life aspirations in the only place she has ever known to find and save her only family and to find where she fits in the worlds balance. In this moment of solitude, I allow the forest to envelop me. The trees stand as ancient sentinels, witnesses to countless elven stories. The soothing sounds of nature guide my thoughts, helping me untangle the threads of doubt and discover a path forward. With a newfound sense of resolve, I decide to explore deeper into the forest. The winding trails offer a sense of exploration and a chance to find solace in the embrace of nature. Each step will take me further from the complexities of the elven city and closer to the wisdom that the ancient forest holds. Suddenly, the forest's tranquility is interrupted by the sudden cracking of twigs. My senses sharpen, and I jump to my feet, whirling around to identify the source of the disturbance. An arrow is notched in my bow immediately as the shadows between the trees seem to dance with uncertainty. Out of the lush foliage steps a mysterious figure, his presence shrouded in the moonlit shadows. A male immoralis, unexpected in this elven sanctuary, stands before me. His eyes, illuminated by a glint of curiosity, meet mine.

(Book 2 of The Elf King trilogy) The familiar characters and some background information, are,of course,Tolkien, and of Marvels Loki Series. The new are my own creation,a continuation of those stories.I take no credit for Tolkien's or Marvels bodies of work. We separated in battle by Morgul magic.Witches. Separation always lead to dire consequences. It was strategic, happened so quickly,a wave of witches, creatures, and illusion.I fought through, managed to clear the illusion.Where was my husband?Gut wretching panic set in.I flew straight up,calling out, then screaming.Frantically scanned the field.I saw his elk.Dread filled my heart.Within a second I was there. Witches scattered all directions.I turned each I could to dust. They moved so fast,in such odd patterns,I only got a few.I covered the kings battered, bleeding body with mine as the witches kept attacking. They're attack on Thranduil had been brutal. "V!I need you!" At the kingdom: It was a long night.I managed to heal his wounds,as he thrashed and convulsed,no help from the healers. They were afraid to come near him. "Cowards!Get out!" Neither would the White council enter. This was Morgul dark magic, and he was considered cursed. Legolas,Tauriel, and our Orcian daughter was all I had.It was enough. The wounds slowly closed, his beauty, more entrancing than ever. Around dawn, his eyes fluttered open. "The light."he mumbled. Legolas quickly closed the shutters. My face fell to his chest,as I sobbed. "Little dove,no.All is well. Please, no."he crooned against my head, "Look.I am well." I raised my eyes, everyone gasped. His eyes glowed red. "Starving,in fact." "Starving?"I repeated cautiously, "-for what?" "Everything smells so wonderful. You smell wonderful."he said, sitting up. "Husband-"I began, then turned to the others,"Leave us." "No."legolas stated,"I won't let him harm you." "What?!"Thranduil said,"my son-" "Look."Legolas said, snatching a hand mirror from the bureau, holding it to him,"Look at your eyes, those fangs!"
