Melanie Roberts is not your average teenage girl. She hasn't been in to drugs and doesn't go to parties. That doesn't mean she's a goody too shoes either. She lives in the Keri foster home for girls. She shares a room with two other girls Taylor and Tasha the abandoned twins. The foster home is all Melanie has ever knew she's been there since she was born fresh from the hospital. She's learned the life of a foster child and enjoys until she faces the chilling reality that she's almost 21...... The foster home age limit. If Melanie doesn't find her parents before she turns 21 she'll be forced to leave the foster home and live in the run down after foster home apartment where all the older foster girls went to. Melanie knows that if she goes there she'll give up hope on finding her parents forever. Will Melanie beat the clock and find her parents before it's too late or will she be forced to forget her hopes for good.
