"That's enough, Luke." I said, staring at his piercing blue eyes, "I can't. We can't. It's just not gonna work."

"But I can figure something out!" Luke said, raising his voice as he moved closer to me. I backed away and unlocked my car, putting the bags in the trunk.

"You've had all summer to figure something out, and now you're willing to try?" I laughed bitterly, slamming the trunk shut.

"I know, but I can make this work," Luke said, grabbing my hand.

I looked at our hands and all of the memories came flooding back to me. What if he could make this work? Could this all really be different?

"I know you can," I said, pulling my hand away from his, "but I never said that I could."

"How does someone get lost in a place like this?" I sighed. "How the hell am I supposed to know?" Marisa said as she looked at the small map. Turning the corner, I ran into the wall and fell only to hear Marisa laughing. Looking up, I saw a tall blonde with piercing blue eyes and a lip ring. "Uh. Hi," I said shocked. "Sorry didn't see you there," He said as he helped me up. "I'm Luke. Luke Hemmings," He smiled with his hand out to shake. "Audrey. Audrey Jones," I said taking his hand in mine. "Well since that happened. Can you help us get out of here?" Marisa asked as she stood by my side. "Uh, yeah," Quickly he told where to go and we made our way towards the exit. Only for Marisa to stop abruptly. "Wait. What's in your hand?" Looking down, I saw a yellow piece of paper sticking on my phone. 'Hey, Maybe we could hang sometime? Xoxo, Luke' Oh. My. God.
