Prison worlds, hybrids, and witches. Damon Salvatore had thought he had seen it all.  Surely with 151 years under his belt nothing could possibly ever take him by surprise again. Or at least, he had hoped. Dealing with the recent disappearance of his girlfriend and the responsibility of a humanity-less brother he decides to take matters into his own hands. Traveling state to state looking for answer's of Elena's where about, Damon always finds himself halted to a dead end.
In one last sore attempt to find Miss Gilbert he passes through the South Hamptons hoping to leave satisfied. That's when he meets Avery Elizabeth Grayson, and satisfied is the last thing he leaves feeling.
