"You're killing people!" yelled/whispered Hazel.

"No, I'm killing boys." Bee answered as she put on her high heels boots. "Boys are just placeholders, they come and they go."

"You're my best friend, and I wanna help you, but I won't let you kill again." Hazel said, trying to sound threatening.

"That's a lose-lose." Bee walked away, leaving Hazel with a broken heart and a big doubt."

Hazel Callahan and Phoebe "Bee" Evergreen had been friends since school, "sandbox love never dies" Hazel used to say, as they grew older, she developed a crush on her best friend, Bee, but she never thought her feelings were reciprocated, so she went in life acting like she never felt a thing.
