The fireworks looked so pretty that night. I don't think there has ever been a New Year's eve, on which I admired the sky so much. My senses were blocking out any type of noise that could possibly disturb me, which made it seem even more unreal. All I could feel was a soft breeze coming from outside the open window. Otherwise, there seemed to be no life in our dark hotel room.
I couldn't be considered as something living anymore.
