500 [or, something like that] years ago, back when Sun Wukong was hardly anything more than a laughingstock, The Six-Eared Macaque found himself at a new point in his life: Mentor. Of whom? A little girl, mysterious, and orphaned, Macaque took her in with sympathy, training her to master her abilities, the Element of Ice. When the self-proclaimed 'Monkey King' and Macaque fell apart, Macaque wanted to protect her, prevent her, from ever getting involved in his quarrels. By doing so, he used his abilities to trap the girl in the ice, and that was where she remained, heart cold and bitter due to rage and spite, one day waiting for her to return and wreak havoc on Macaque. 

We head to present day, when the protegè of Monkey King, the 'Monkey Kid,' is unknown to the dangers of the one called 'The Lady Bone Demon,' and her new ally...

When the Monkey King defeated and sealed away the Demon Bull King under a mountain. He suddenly disappeared without leaving a trace. During his sudden disappearance, a beautiful woman who is called a deity and a goddess arrived on earth to save the planet from a demon that was about to destroy the whole world, even though they were already defeated by Sun Wukong before. The Goddess was soon named the Goddess of Balance. The one that can control the skies, seas, weather and anything that can be changed and reverted back to its balanced state. The Goddess defeated the demon with her powers and sealed away the destructive demon in a place where it can never be found nor freed. And suddenly, Goddess also disappeared like the Monkey King without a trace as the humans worshiped for saving their planet and hoping that she and the Monkey King appear again.

Successor AU (Monkie Kid story) by b00nalina

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. I decided to also post it here because AO3 has recently been quite... buggy lately.. And I just didn't want to risk my story somehow glitching out of existence. So I'm posting it here as well.
