After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. Suddenly, talking to Chuuya didn't seem as daunting as it used too. No matter how many times his friends told Chuuya to stay away from Dazai, Chuuya already started to fall in love with him. He wanted to reach out to Dazai and hold him, but he knew it was not his place. After all they had nothing but a doctor-patient relationship.
