Anoush Manikas is a lot of things at once - a proud Greek-Armenian, a first-generation American, a rising high school senior, a dancer, a straight-A student, and a Juilliard hopeful. She also happens to be the second child and only daughter of legendary heavy metal guitarist Giannis Manikas. She doesn't let that get to her head, though. She's just Anoush, and she likes it that way.
Anoush is in a weird phase of her life. She comes from a family of artists, writers, musicians, and athletes, and she doesn't want to be the only one without a claim to fame. But she wants to get it herself, not because of who her father is. Being 17 is hard enough without the existential crisis of being a celebrity's kid.
