There's a monster in the lake. It has claimed many lives across the territories, but it has came to rest in RiverClan's banks and reeds. A flickering blaze will perhaps set an example...
Firetuft has been brought up to be the truest warrior in the Clans' history, as conditioned by his parents Ducksplash and Rockpad along with his mentor Finwater. His mother always doted that he reminded everyone so much of his legendary grandfather Flamethistle. But of course! All of StarClan purred as they hovered their paws upon him, blessing him with strength and cunning and intelligence...he was destined to kill this monstrosity and bring peace to the Clans.
His brother Vineburr and sister Amberdawn were tired of their eldest littermate's boasting and their parents breathless praise of him. Their grandmother Honeysnout warns them of the creature in the dark waters, and encourages them to keep to their morals and use their own knowledge to bring RiverClan together in order to rid the beast.
