"IT CANNOT STAY."
_____________________

Hare was never supposed to be born.

Her existence is forbidden. Her grandmother stated that many years ago. But yet she's alive, and in hiding with the dragons who will determine the future of Pyrrhia.

But fate isn't always written in stone. An unexpected visitor throws everything off and destroys the somewhat peaceful lives of the dragons under the mountain. Now it's up to the dragonets to decide whether to follow the prophecy or save their friend.

And it's up to Hare to decide whether to follow her mother's orders or stay with the dragons she grew up with.

UNVEILING SECRETS IS A RISKY CHOICE. The limits of Reef Beach aren't strong enough to stop Sapphire's curiosity. She's been so curious about the whole idea of never going out into the world. Sapphire wasn't going to sit around and wait, so sneaking out must be the right idea. But even being cautious and quiet isn't enough for the dangers that lurk around to stop them from tangling Sapphire into them. When she accidentally catches herself in a lot of trouble, she needs to recover and fight back. But, then she gets into a bigger mess . . . . Staying close to the shadows in the moonlit night, she crawls her way in to find the answers. How did she end up in Reef Beach? Who are her parents - and why did they leave her there? How come Reef Beach is so limited? When her friends are in danger and she finds out about the raging war between the NightWings and SeaWings, Sapphire needs to act up. But finding the answers to all her questions isn't as simple as waving a wing. Finding new secrets, new friends, and even unveiling a prophecy. More questions come to her. Can she fulfill this prophecy? Will Sapphire succeed to stopping the war? Or will the war drag on endlessly with more dragons dying one by one . . . . With permission from the RainWing queen, the NightWings have created a sub-kingdom deep in the jungle that now thrives as a successful city. However, trouble brews deep within the heart of the kingdom - not everyone is satisfied with the traditions that have been set in stone for generations. Follow the young NightWing princess Legacy through three pivotal moments in her life that may change the history of the NightWings forever. Designed as a prologue to my main story, this story is in three parts. Each part is a length of 1-2 chapters. Hope you enjoy reading! Wings of Fire belongs to Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic.
