This story takes place in the stormy city of Seattle Washington where a young 21 year old Addison Broker is forced to leave her family behind due to her abusive father who happened to be considered a drug lord. She changed her name and now, she's Addison Broker. Addison is an astronomer who's always had a fixation on the moon. She studies It nightly, unable to peel her eyes away. On her way to work one day, a man who looks just like the moon bumps into her and spills her freshly brewed coffee all over her classy work attire. If only she knew that would be the beginning of the most tragically beautiful love story the moon could have ever painted for her.

"You were set to marry my father's heir. My oldest brother," She picks up a cup, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, he has died. As second oldest, it is my duty to fulfill my father's wishes." I'm still utterly confused. She takes a sip, "You will marry me." Ruth Foster was ordinary, or so that's what she always believed. Her story wasn't anything special. Dead Mother. Dead Father. Dead Uncle. Ruth hasn't expected much from life, only disappointments, and tragedy. She had no clue how right she was, until abducted by none other than a psychopathic woman, one who kills just because she can, and who goes by the name Orion King. Ruth is forced with two choices. Either marry Orion, or face death.
