A South-Asian-inspired fantasy series about a magic-wielding automaton learning how to become human through her recovery from grief, her discovery and exploration of love, and tackling the worst and best of humanity amidst a sub-continent drenched in war, famine, and ecocide. While over the horizon an evil force is rising through the chaos to achieve one objective: the eradication of humanity. Will Diya stop this gruesome plot? Will she learn to become "human" and how to live her life? Or will she succumb to the worst vices of humanity? Find out by reading this story!
