This is a story about two girls. Lily is a human while Elaine is a demon. Or that's what everyone thinks. Demons have control in a city, state, or country! They provide everything for the people. But they need food.. humans are their food. Without food, they turn into a monster. Every month, they have a sacrifice day. They pick a human to kill and eat. Elaine usually only eats men. But she decided that this time it would be a female. While Lily is shopping, she gets chosen. Yet she's pretty happy she was chosen. Why is she so happy to be chosen?! Does she live? Does Elaine eat her? Read How to Survive Being Sacrificed to see what happens. ( This is my first story, so sorry if it's bad.)

Author's Note: I appreciate the traction this book gets here and there but fair warning, I wrote this when I was quite young and it's paced poorly just to get my ideas stored in my head onto a digital format. However, when he travels to the human world one night he is chased and ends up wavering between life and death! Yet, he somehow survives with the help of a young human girl with golden eyes. Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first.
