I looked at him with my eyes wide open as the size of a saucer, I couldn't believe he opened his eyes after being in coma for three years. I was overwhelmed....I felt tears dropping out of my eyes.....I made no movement to wipe them.....All I could do was look at his confused eyes....I felt slight fear at the back of my mind, but I pushed it back.....I approached him slowly without breaking my eye contact....Not knowing I'm about to get the biggest shock of my lifetime.

My grandfather passed away a while ago due to Alzheimer's. It's a horrific disease that eats away at your mind and takes away your memories. In my grandfather's final moments, he had forgotten how to swallow food and water. He didn't know his own daughters'. His own family he spent most of his life with. A lot of the events that Anti does in this book are things my grandfather did while losing his memory. I'm just spreading awareness. Hope for a cure one day ❤️
