At the time of writing this story (2022), I felt the need for a heroic story like those we know from previous wars. For security reasons, hero stories come out quite some time after wars are over or when all information is already known by the enemy. To fill that need, my creativity went to work. This story is the result of that creativity. In short, everything is one big fantasy.

I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us. A frown made it's way onto my face as I looked at the mysterious man who refused to tell me who he is. He stood tall in front of me as we fell into silence again but only for a few seconds before he began to slowly move towards me. His face slowly being exposed to the light, giving me a glimpse of his icy grey eyes. "let's go" he spoke again before turning around.
