Carlos Martinez, an agent from California comes to Jakarta with his team to join the violent investigative team that specializes in catching murderers where he meets Astrid Levinson.

Astrid had always been an independent and self-reliant detective, always believing that she could handle any case on her own. So when she was assigned to work with Agent Carlos Martinez, a seemingly arrogant and confident American agent, Astrid was immediately skeptical of him. She couldn't stand his egoistic personality and found his confident attitude to be infuriating. But soon, Astrid would find herself in a situation she never could have prepared for, as something went terribly wrong.
