Zeke wakes up on the middle of battlefield with no idea which side he's on--good or bad? The only thing he knows is his name--Ezekiel Zohar. He's got to find out who he is and how to save the world at the same time. But that proves to difficult when he's got a huge target on his back every time he steps out of HQ.
Alister finds Zeke on the ground, his partner in heroing, his Beacon. Al finds out Zeke doesn't remember anything. Al has to protect his best friend from the dangers of the villains and the possibility of a mole in the hero agency they work at. But how can he protect Zeke from all of the bad things while trying to save the world from the bad things? And how can he that when Zeke doesn't know who to trust anymore?
