The Barnes Tragedy

Lydia Margret Barnes, adores her brother. After being technically raised by him, and later his best friend Steve Roger's, she can't fathom a world without him.

But the war has other plans. The siblings are separated and both go through horrors that plague them with nightmares.

After going undercover at an orphanage Lydia thinks she's finally safe, but hydra still have their eye on her and she might be the secret to controlling their newest asset: The winter soldier.

Bucky Barnes doesn't know what he'd do without his younger sister. She's the only family he has left after their parents die.

But then the war arrives, he knows he has to fight so she can grow up in a better world. But leaving her in Brooklyn is one of the biggest regrets of his life.

Once the war arrives the two siblings can't catch a break. They are forced through evil organisations and tragic events.

All Bucky wanted was for his sister to survive the war.

All Lydia wanted was to grow up like her brother.

They both get their wish. But at what cost?
