Detective Charlie Spring has just been assigned a new partner, an android named Nick. Charlie's last android partner, Ben, went rogue and tried to kill him, so he isn't exactly thrilled at the prospect of having another. Nick, on the other hand, is only concerned about keeping Detective Spring safe.
