Death, immortality, and most of all, balance; Dearil thought he was conquering those. Little did he know, it was hatred that was slowly consuming him whole.

Dearil Burrough is born with the symbol of death. But he is afraid of death. And so death followed him around. 

As a member of a clan blessed with a god's ichor, he's been taught over and over how he should die for the sake of the balance long distorted by the war between the god of light and the god of night.

Once Zoey is safe they cant seem to get back to their own world trapping them in a world full of demons and creatures they have never heard of. Demons and creatures that want them dead. They begin an adventure not knowing what their walking into, what will happen on their wild and danger filled adventure and even if they will find a way back home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This may not be the best summary ever, but I've been told that its really good so I hope you decide to read it and enjoy it.
