Mile remembers his first crush in grade 7, a pretty classmate with beautiful eyes; he also remembers his first love in high school, a girl who had strong personality and a sunny smile. Somehow, Apo reminds him of those years and kindles an akin fire in him. That's the reason Mile keeps arguing with himself that everything whirling him around is so absurd. He's not a teenager anymore, and Apo can't be his first love - nor first crush. Not that he loves Apo anyway.

No. He does love Apo, a lot, but not that way - to be clear.

She was a normal girl, as normal as she could get, working her way around her biggest problems. Emotions during high school, trying not to fling herself into a panic attack. Her heart didn't ache for any guy or girl, her stomach never hurt from laughing too hard at a joke, she was just simply, there. She was just simply, trying to live. Until he ran into her on the first day of high school. {Edited}
