The story tells of a beautiful goddess named RIMURU TEMPEST, the successor of Veladanava and who became the fifth true Dragon.

On a quiet and dark night, there was a light shining in the middle of the Jura forest, a girl was singing, making the atmosphere there very calming. Exactly at 00.00, a purplish black light appeared in front of her and made the girl stand alert in front of the light. Suddenly the light surrounded the girl so that there was no way out, it seemed like it was devouring her. < Confirmation,  Master must come out of the light! > Ciel said in a panicked tone. Since it was too late I decided to make another clone of myself and put manas Ciel into it. "I will leave this world to you Ciel-san while I am not around because it would be dangerous for this world if my existence suddenly disappeared, I trust you Ciel."

And Rimuru was carried away by the light to a dark, quiet and deserted place.

This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard is missing a lot of characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats from the original light novel, meaning some arcs will get glossed over if there are little changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates because I tend to reread chapters and notice minor mistakes here and there. Also, it goes without saying that I do not own the series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.' Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.

While walking along he runs into a monster that was run out of their home by the orcs and lost their entire family to the attack. With nowhere to call home and no family to go back to, Rimuru accepts the monster into the new and growing town as his adopted daughter. The story will follow the main story beats of the light novel, but events will be changed due to a close bond forming between Rimuru and the new monster. The bond will be explored along with the world around the two of them, giving more depth to the characters and allowing them to move outside of the main story's narrative. This is my first time writing something like this so I apologies if there are any glaring issues you may notice.
