The Alien Gospel

Father John, a Greek Orthodox priest, joins a NASA team making first contact with the Serenians, a deeply spiritual alien race. They welcome the humans. Father John discovers the Serenians already have a long-established form of Christianity adopted from an ancient visitor named Ilya, remarkably similar to Jesus. As Father John immerses himself in studying Serenian theology, he struggles with difficult questions about faith, doctrine, and Christ's nature that challenge his assumptions.
