Hadley hasn't had a great past, after being abandoned as a child and having to fend for herself. The only way possible for her to get the basic, vital things is for her to shop lift, as she has had no education so therefore cannot get a job. But, when CCTV catches her and they track her down, she has no chance of escape on her own. Adele has her work cut out for her. The woman running the First Street Orphanage before her, left abruptly and the accounting records are a complete mess.
