Gastly Periwinkle had once been a witch. She held the force of the storm at her fingertips until it was taken from her by the very people she loved and protected. Wrongly accused and shunned, Gaz leaves her hometown Ghostgrove with no intention of ever looking back.
Gaz has made a name for herself. Success had never been far from reach, but none of it ever mattered. No matter how hard she worked or loved, nothing ever filled the void that formed with the coven's decision to seal away her magic.
Belladonna Blackstone has offered her the life she has lived without in exchange for her life's work. The world is caving in around her. Divorce, sickness, and solitude are all weighing over her. She's stuck in a mortal body she never should have had.
Pain is an endurance that has stolen her optimism. She longs to be the girl she once was, but that means going home. Home to a family that didn't stand up for her when she needed it. Home to her magical counterpart who's never shown any interest in completing their bond. Home where everyone hates her.
Fate has a way of taking us back to the very places that destroy us. I'm not the same teenage girl that left ten years ago. I may not wield the storm the way I used to, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't still live inside of me.

She felt his surprise. She felt his light extinguish as he died. Then there was nothing. Nothing. Her head was swimming like it was underwater. She couldn't move. She couldn't move. Her vision blurred, a man was speaking but she couldn't hear his words. She felt the sword in her chest, but it wasn't there. He killed him. He killed him. Breathe. Did she stop? Breathe. The man, she could hear him speaking. What was he saying? Breathe. She inhaled a deep breath. And another. Then another. Things started to clear. "Breathe. That's right," the warrior coaxed. She started to take another settling breath, and his face came more into focus. The first thing she noticed was his piercing green eyes. She had never seen eyes quite like that before. She stared into them, mesmerized. He mimicked a breath and she took it with him. She was coming back. "I will not hurt you," the man kneeling before her promised. Anna knew better than to believe him. What was it he had said? Oh. "You...you said...you said 'no witnesses'." She was shaking violently. She took another deep breath. "Ah, " he uttered in acknowledgment. "You are not a witness, you are the treasure

Thirteen years after The Battle of Hogwarts, two wizarding children are about to embark on their own adventure. They both have been lied to their entire lives, one to protect her from the wrath of the wizarding world, and the other to protect him from the love of the wizarding world. Before their first year is over, secrets will be revealed, friendships will be tested, and death itself will never be the same. Belladonna Black has known about magic her entire life, but she has never seen a game of Quidditch, never been to Diagon Alley, and never even left Malfoy Manor. Her best friends Scorpius Malfoy and Catherine Goyle, even though they are two years younger, have always been free to do these things, with one condition: they must never mention Belladonna to the outside world. Why do the eyes of every adult in the Manor follow Belladonna wherever she goes? James Potter has grown up on the fringes of the wizarding world, surrounded by his extended family, and parent's friends. He does not know why whispers always follow his family whenever they venture into public, perhaps it is because his mother is a former professional Quidditch player, and his father is Head of the Auror Department. His best friends, Edward Lupin and Victorie Weasley, are already at Hogwarts, and know the answer, but aren't telling. What causes the whispers? Each went to Hogwarts looking for answers, but what they find is more than they bargained for. Because they are not the only people at Hogwarts looking for answers. And some questions should not even be asked, for the answers can do more than reveal the past, some answers can bring it back to life. www.BelladonnaBlack.wordpress.com

Kala had always thought of herself as normal, but when the world ended, cleansed by a power most would fail to understand, she realized she was far from normal. That day, Kala awoke in a fog surrounded by a nothingness that permeated every pore of her body. The only sounds she could hear were her own ragged breaths in the vast and empty darkness. When the light finally returned, she found herself utterly alone and suddenly part of a struggle much bigger than she'd ever thought possible. With that struggle came something else...power. Power to control the elements. Power the likes of which she had only seen in movies or read about in books. Despite her disbelief, it remained...right there in the palms of her hands. Eventually Kala learned to use her power as it was intended. As she wandered the new world, she met others like herself, other Servants with similar abilities who understood the reason for the destruction...for the loss. And then, six years after her world turned upside down, she met him. A handsome stranger in a tiny town in the middle of the West Virginia woods - not a Servant - not like her. And certainly not the type of man Kala had expected to find herself falling for. But the man she met there turned out to be more than just a hero in her time of need. At her side, he would become a protector, leader, confidant, and so much more. Together, they would find themselves fighting a growing evil...a man like Kala, who had been granted power beyond words or description. He might have been a good man once, but his fall was nearly complete. And now he desired only to rule - not to heal. This man would lead a small army against them, but they wouldn't have to fight alone. There was another, more powerful force on their side...one that could change the course of the war to come.

My friends have come back to life. Ain't this a time to be alive?
