Lost

14 year old Xavier had been kidnapped while walking to the convenience store to get some snacks for game night with his family. His sister (Pamela) stayed home to set everything else up. His brother (Nathaniel) was supposed to go with him but decided not to last minute, as Xavier was walking to the store, a dark black SUV started tailing him, this frightened Xavier and he started to panic and walk faster, slowly starting to run. The SUV noticed and sped up, pulling up next to him. The black door opened, and three large men jumped out and grabbed Xavier, injecting something in his neck.

Time passed, and when he didn't return home, his family called the cops. There was a wide spread search, but after 6 months of non-stop looking, the cops gave up and pronounced Xavier dead. This absolutely broke his family, mainly his sister, who he was extremely close with. She was an absolute mess.
