Control Freak

Rose Frankfurt loses a part of herself after her best friend Bridget falls into a coma after a car accident that was her fault. She finds herself going to every place, and doing everything that reminded her of Bridget, slowly losing herself even more.
As time passes, Rose realizes she needs to get her life together and being applying to colleges, but her efforts in school decreased dramatically after the accident. She began to lose hope, until she began seeing Bridget one day, but conscious. However, Rose is the only one that can see her.
As Rose's mental health declines more and more after the accident, she begins to develop dark thoughts, and gets the idea to write a story, but have Bridget as the main character, controlling her, and talking to her as she writes a story with a horrifying storyline.

However, no one knows the truth about Rose's condition, and that Bridget has been in a coma the entire time, unconscious.
