The Atheil Chronicles: A Call to Fire

38 parts Complete Mature

All her life, Ariana Lucade has always felt like she was different from everyone around her, though it never really bothered her. She was happy with her life exactly the way it was: she had her mom, her cat, and her forest to keep her company, and she was sure that that was all she would ever need. Never worrying about the future, never wanting more than what she had, Ariana spent her days out in the forest, letting her mind do the wandering for her while she kept her own feet planted firmly on the ground. That is, until she meets a mysterious stranger one night on a path that should have never been there in the first place. In that one act, Ariana's whole life is thrown into chaos and she's introduced to a world that she never knew could have existed. Things aren't quite as magical as they seem, though, and Ariana soon finds out that the forest holds much darker secrets than she could have ever dared to imagine. This is Book 1 in a 4 part series. Book 2 is ongoing and titled The Atheil Chronicles: A Call to Blood This book has mature scenes and the corresponding chapters toward the end of the book are marked with Trigger Warnings.
