A Glitch in the Afterlife

Issy, residing in the bustling city of Edinburgh, experiences a life-altering event when her family, engrossed in a heated argument about their religious beliefs, becomes involved in a car accident. After the chaotic incident, Issy awakens, initially believing she is in a hospital bed. However, to her surprise, she discovers herself in a peculiar community of women.

This community, unbeknownst to Issy, is comprised of individuals who claim to have died but were granted a second chance at life. They have established a school, a café, and a church, where they devoutly worship God according to the Christian Bible. According to their shared belief, God has bestowed upon them this unique opportunity for a fresh start.

As Issy acquaints herself with the community, she stumbles upon a disconcerting tradition: an annual ceremony known as "deletion," during which one woman is chosen to be removed from the community. This revelation leaves Issy perplexed and determined to unravel the truth behind this ominous practice.

Her quest for understanding leads to a series of events where Issy becomes increasingly determined to escape the perplexing reality of the community.
