In the land of Paolark, where justice was a luxury that only the wealthy could afford, Selene made her living as a bounty hunter. She was known for her ruthless methods and her ability to track down even the most elusive fugitives. Her reputation preceded her, and she was feared and respected in equal measure.

Selene had always been a woman of uncommon determination and focus, and her single-minded pursuit of her goals had led her to some of the most dangerous corners of Paolark. But now, she had set her sights on a new target - the Prince Kairlan, the Heir to the throne.

Kairlan was a man of mystery and intrigue, with a reputation that bordered on myth. Selene had heard whispers that he possessed powers beyond those of mortal men, and she was determined to find out the truth. She spent weeks gathering information about his movements and habits, studying his every move until she felt she knew him inside out.

But as Selene closed in on her prey, something unexpected happened. She found herself drawn to Kairlan in a way she couldn't explain. It was as if there was something about him that called to her on a primal level, something that went beyond mere curiosity or greed.

Selene tried to ignore these feelings, reminding herself that Kairlan was just another target, another bounty to be collected. But as she watched him from afar, she couldn't help but feel a strange sense of longing and desire. It was as if Kairlan held the key to some deep-seated need within her, a need that she had never fully understood.

As Selene continued to stalk Kairlan through the streets of Paolark, she found herself growing more and more conflicted. She knew that capturing him would mean putting an end to his life, but she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Kairlan than met the eye. She began to wonder if there might be another way - if perhaps she could find a way to save him instead of killing him.

"What do you want with me," she demanded softly, her voice quavering as her cheeks heated with embarrassment at his reference to her actions of the night before. This bantering, flirtatious side of Zeke was turning her insides into a confusing mush. Zeke stopped his advance, leaving two feet of space between them, his fiery eyes boring into hers with a look of intense determination. "Everything," he admitted huskily. The answer took her by surprise. A flash of heat spread from the back of her skull to her toes, as if she'd been struck by lightning. Every nerve felt like she was on fire. Her wolf hummed with pleasure at the sensations while her human self felt like it was drowning in an ocean of panic. The dichotomy of her split emotions was a chaotic confusion she had never felt before. "You're going to...um," she stuttered, frazzled. Her eyes darted around the room, looking for anything to distract her from the heat in his unbroken gaze, before finally settling on the smooth marble floor under her bare feet. She cleared her throat to start again. "You're going to need to be a little more specific." ~~~~~~~~~~ Selene is the daughter of Corben, Alpha of Blood Fang. She has never left her pack territory, but when she is suddenly accused of murdering her father, she's left with no choice but to abandon her pack in order to survive. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living.
