Two young brothers, Dream and Nightmare, are the village's guardians of the Tree of Feelings. They make a great connection and can never be separated.
Oh... You're familiar with this, aren't you?
Well, let's get to the point.
Dream, as the positive guardian of the tree, tends to be protective of Nightmare. Ever since the incident, he's been like that. He now keeps an eye on his brother, making sure he doesn't get teased. He tends to be serious on protecting him as well, threatening to harm the tormentor(s). However, he still wants to be the optimistic guardian he is. He tries not to be too harsh on the villagers.
Nightmare, as the negative guardian, is weak and gloomy. He always mutters to himself how vulnerable he is. He puts himself down when others harm him. He believes he's useless and has no purpose; he wants to disappear. Dream does everything in his power to not let him think like that. Unfortunately, no matter what Dream does, it may never cure Nightmare's negativity. He also gets bullied a lot, to the point it's an endless cycle. A daily thing, almost.
One day, Dream and Nightmare see their destiny from another timeline and realize it is better to depart from the Tree Of Feelings. They knew everything would go downhill someday. Then they met different clones of them, explaining that they needed to leave their village, to evacuate.

this story is based on a Manta series called 'Under the Oak tree' and is entirely inspired by that, there may be different takes as I will switch some things up, the ship is entirely Crossmare, side ships may be included. Nightmare, a Lord with his own campaign and land, was sealed into a marriage with Cross. found himself entangled in the war his father-in-law X was supposed to fight in, taking the older man's place. He left his spouse for a war that lasted 7 years. Cross. a poor monster abused by his Father, X, who clearly uses him for his own gain regardless of his son's feelings, he does not care for Cross. and soon Cross found himself alone again the day after his wedding as Nightmare had departed for war. leaving him at the mercy of his Father once again.Complete

(REWRITE OF THIS BOOK IS UP! It is called "Obsessive Love".) (I do not own the cover, Undertale nor any of the characters besides my OC's, they belong to their respectful owner. For some reason, I just see Error in the front instead of passive Nightmare.) Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him. It is a obsessive love, a unhealthy love unlike any other. Nightmare would do anything for Error, and would do anything to keep him by his side as he goes about taking over all the AU's. TWs!!! because I can't seem to tag them for some reason! abuse, mental health issues, torture, mental break downs, manipulation, all that fun stuff. This is NOT a lighthearted story! Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die. Everything is so wonderful but at the price of the Dream they loved most. What had happened to the guardian of positivity? Well, he's challenging all the expectations placed upon him and his loved ones, creating a new form of the multiverse. But will he be able to find a way home to them? Blue was the only thing he didn't just tolerated, he loved Blue like his younger brother and the smaller felt the same. Error felt himself fall apart as time passed and when Blue hugged him all his memories flew back in his face. His home, his life, Nightmares secrets. When Dream accuses Error of having feelings for Ink he finds himself in the situation of a lie, holding up the lie of love until he can find his way back. When Nightmare comes into the Star Sans' base with Ink tied up Erros whole lie comes unraveled. Especially with the multiverse's Ink watching TV next to him. "What's going on with you?" Ink huffed. "Well when I was healing error-" "Which I still dont get why you even did." "Anyway... well he asked if you hated him and when I asked why he started blushing!
