after the events of the sonic movies [NON-Canon timeline] Sonic, Shadow, Tails, knuckles, and the rest of his pals have found blissful peace in the town of Green hills, California. Shadow had taken to helping the small town out in any way possible to make up for the chaos and destruction of his vengeful path of destruction and ways. Knuckles and Tails had decided to use the old den Sonic used to live in as a place to store and guard the master emerald and Sonic had gotten too know a new friend and potential love interest Amy Rose in his adventures. But one day, on a small race through the mountains and forest of California, Sonic and Shadow had come across a small abandoned town with a run down sign called 'Darkened-Dawn, est. 1898'. their lives, mostly Sonic's, turn upside down upon investigation.
