Long ago, it was deemed that had there been a god overshadowing the world, they'd long turned their back on our growing society. Despite such beliefs, the ability and use of magic and concoction of potions began to reign across the world, creating both good and evil vigilantes within civilizations. Abandonment led to plague and disease to stretch far across the horizons of the world, hitting each continent and successfully putting humanity on the verge of a final reset before it'd even hit medieval periods. Both healthy and sick longed for a being, a higher immortal being, to put their faith in.. have it be for protection, for prayer, or for a boulder to rely on. And so, no matter where you look, stand, nor feel, you can always see the sky. Scholars began to search for answers to the universe, which led to dabbles of astronomy, and twisting methods of faith. The allegiance to the Moon began, and thus an Oath was made to the Stars.

I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups.
