Broken. That was a word that Piper Strand was familiar with as it is exactly how you would describe her family. Yet the brokenness brought her closer to her twin brother TK. It was because of him that she was able to join the New York Fire Department's EMS program. Her life was perfect. That was until she found TK's lifeless body. After TK recovered their father decided to take TK to Austin.  Luckily for Piper, her dad secured her a position in the Austin EMS organisation. It was there that she and her brother rebuilt their perfect lives.
