Bakugou became deaf when he was 6 years old. After 2 years of his quirk being developed, he felt more confident in it than he should've had. He lost his hearing after a really loud explosion, but learned to live with it fairly quickly. 

Todoroki did not have the same luck. He lost his sight during practice, he hadn't learned how to use his fire correctly, and that ended up in a accident with fire way to close to his face, damaging all of the eye-nerves. He's still trying to learn how to live with this new disability.

-Hi, I'm Russmi and this is my first fic. English is not my first language so I would really appreciate if you could correct me when something doesn't make sense!

-This story does not have smut.

-This story does not follow the actual anime nor manga word for word.

-I'll try my best to make the characters not be too much ooc, but I can't promise much.

Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done.
