Everything was going fine in the rebellion until the prince showed up. Or, according to the leader at least. Prince William claimed to "know intel about the enemies" and "be able to fight" and "not have a crush on the injured soldier boy he found on the journey." Yeah, right, Will. You keep telling yourself that.

Meanwhile, Nico--Soldier 1017--is only trying to survive the night. With nothing and no one to save him from his upcoming execution for failing to follow orders, Nico's future looks pretty bleak. 

A raid and a rebellion bring them together. Every day they fight their pasts and their futures, and every day they promise to each other that they will make it to the sun, to the stars, and to the sky.

While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate?
