Sunflowers and Stars is a novel about two young men named Elliot Thornfield and Micah Winters. Elliot grew up in a sunflower field with his parents, who never gave him the needed attention. Meanwhile, Micah grew up in a household where he was loved. Then, one day, the two meet in a field and befriend each other. As time passes, they begin to develop feelings for each other, but neither knows how to express it.
