Amelie Johnson begins a new life at Lawrence College of the Arts. Her stay in that place begins to take her down unexpected paths and she soon discovers that her entire life has been wrapped in half-truths. As if that were not enough, she must deal with mysteries that surround her birth, forces of supernatural origin and the fight for personal improvement. She must also deal with the feelings that have begun to grow between her and Alex Evans, her Art History teacher.
