The shadows of change creep unnoticed through the world. From the shadows a new coven arose and the whispers get louder. As the volturi gain knowledge, they decide that this unregistered coven poses a threat, as their power was great, but the full extend was unknown. After the lost battle over Nessie, their power began to crumble and voices get louder, other clans start to question the power of the volturi and their right to rule, they couldn't afford to let this coven go and risk their royal status.
