Hello and welcome to the first book in the I'm A Dead Man Walking Series: A Man Cut Into Slices. My name is Shane Wright and I have a story to share about a young man who's path vaguely resembles that of the authors own.

Cillian Knight finds himself facing a murder charge after hitting and killing a man while driving drunk one night. The story follows a detailed description of what jail life is like for a guy who's never even got a speeding ticket, and a forbidden love starts to form when a sadistic guard decides to make Knight her new favorite pet.

The wide scope of charterers act like sledgehammers breaking up the concrete schedule of a numbing and mundane jail life. While inside Knight's head, you hear the philosophy of what it means to survive in such a cold world and the ever-present battle to find the will to live.

When the lights are always on, the shadows grow strong.
