Two seamonsters, Luther and Atlis, whom are polar opposites are forced to be each other's military "battle buddy". The story follows Atlis, who is well known for being overly charismatic, flamboyant, and very stylish, and Luther, who is very rough toned, and shaped with a painful past.

To describe Scar & Grian's relationship, it is one of complete and utter loathing. The two have a deep-rooted dislike for one another, always wanting to bully each other every time they come near. However, whenever they do pass or see each other, they would get this strange feeling of warmth and joy that fills their guts. But they don't know what this sensation is, they just know that it makes them want to bully and torment the other even worse. It's such a unique feeling, no one can explain it, not even themselves. They just know that the feeling is there and they hate it. They hate it so much that they wont admit it or even talk about it, it's something unspoken but still a powerful and driving force between the two.
