Tyler Gushiken has been coming to this high school for a couple of years. One day, Tyler discovers it's his old childhood friend, Melody had started to attend this high school too. Tyler had moved away when he was younger and had not seen Melody until now. When they were younger, they believed in some story about another world with magic and portals appearing every five years. Now, some people in this school talk about this event, too, claiming it is coming soon.

Catching up with one another, suddenly Melody "falls in love" with the popular guy named Matthew, in short, Matt. Matt and Melody start to hang out a lot more, which leaves Tyler behind. Tyler senses something off with Matt. Whether it is jealousy or not, he knows something is off about him. And he needs to find the truth about him and his sister, Lydia, before it's too late.

In the meantime, Tyler's and Melody's main two friends, Mason and Lydia, will have to reflect and fix their problems and get along with one another of opposite sides.

With Tyler, Melody, and their friends, will they be able to stop Matt and his plans? And
will they be able to get along with each other? Or will Matt have the upper hand and fulfill his goal?
