Kochou Shinobu, a butterfly princess was stuck in her castle strictly. She was bored and barely got to go out. She dislikes her arranged fiancé and really, really wanted someone better! But.. it was that way.
One day, she decides to go sneak out of her castle undercover using a long cloak without any Royal attire. She bumps into a fellow commoner in the market who was rumoured as an orphan. She never heard that rumor.
They glanced at each other and their pupils slightly dilate, not as clear. Her hood also came off and everyone immediately recognized her peculiar face, especially him, Tomioka Giyuu. She immediately ran away out of sight hoping she wouldn't be informed that she was sneaking out or caught by a Royal. Who knows though?
They thought about each other once again.. Oh my.. Is this what they call love?..

However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were... Being dragged away by relatives of his that were doctors all because he insisted that his sister was slaughtered by demons, it was the truth, but over time as these doctors started to chip away at his mind he was left unsure of any reason demons would exist in a world. These doctors always tormented Giyuu even in his sleep to the point he became an emotionless being. Until he was saved by a woman. For the first time in years Giyuu actually felt something and instead of working on the opposing side of demons, he found himself working for a demon, she was kind and quiet, and almost emotionless in a way, she treated Giyuu like a normal human being but then she was recruited to help people who slayed demons, since she couldn't work in the sunlight, Giyuu was often sent in her stead when test were being ran during the day, there he met some people who were interesting, people's lives that were damaged by demons but they never seemed emotionless like him, it confused him made him wonder if he was always supposed to be like this, if there was a way he could have been different. As he wonders into his thoughts, he runs into someone, someone who looked severely damaged by the hands of demons on the outside but on the inside he seemed put together but a little degraded, he seemed to be intrigued by Giyuu and Giyuu wouldn't admit but he intrigued him.
