The house was completely empty and void of sound, as it always is when my parents are out and about. The wind kicked up outside and the fire blazed inside the fire place.
I always use this time to kick back and relax. It was always great to do whatever I wanted do when they were gone, you know that saying when the cats away the mice will play.
Me and my parents got along great but I still felt lonely most days even though I don't live alone.
The house sounded as quiet as a graveyard and I wouldn't be surprised if my thoughts echoed through the halls.
My name is April Mills and I'm a 19 year old college student on summer break. Who would of thought I would have the biggest adventure I've ever wanted this summer.

Have you ever had that moment, when you thought life was normal? You and your family were happy but in the next moment. It turns into Hell! That's how my day went when my family died in front of me. Alex.. That's all I remembered that summer night 3 years ago.. It was my 19th birthday and I was celebrating at the beach house, like we always did. Together. This summer was different.
